A Special Note to Experienced Nia Movers and Teachers

No matter how much Nia experience you have, come to a Niability workshop and be surprised, invigorated, and inspired by what you discover.

About Niability: The Nine Movement Forms

Debbie Rosas describes Niability: The Nine Movement Forms as an “absolutely fundamental part of continuing education.”

Teacher and Nia Staffer, Julia Hughes, says: ”This workshop powerfully impacts the practice of Nia for both students and professionals … empowering you to generate deeper levels of enjoyment, appreciation, and effectiveness in the practice of Nia.”

Jill Pagano Carr, Nia Black Belt (and Next Generation Teacher Trainer) with 14 years’ teaching experience, simply describes her Niability experience as, “Divine!”

And just about every teacher who has taken this workshop has said, “I now have a LOT more confidence as a Nia teacher!”

An easy and fun way to explore the 2nd Principle of Nia.
As you know, the Nine Movement Forms are part of the 2nd Principle of Nia. So, they’re WAY up in the hierarchy of principles. But if you’re like many Nia dancers at all levels of experience, you may have intended to learn more about the movement forms, but have never had the time. This workshop makes learning about them not only easy, but fun — and inspiring.

  •  “I’m always referring to the Niability materials to help me teach better technique, or for a fresh or more accurate focus and intent about the movement forms.”
    B. Duff, Nia Brown Belt Teacher
  •
  • “Even after doing and teaching Nia for six years, I now realize how the 9 Movement Forms, when taken together, are so much more than their parts. This learning has given my body more freedom to explore it’s own way of conditioning, healing, and expression. And I continue to delight in the deeper levels of Joy this new exploration brings!”

Give your Nia practice a shot in the arm.
Maybe you’ve been doing or teaching Nia for so long, your practice feels like it needs an “energy boost.” Here’s what Niability students have said about that:

  • “I was wondering if I needed to go outside of Nia to find new stimulation as a teacher. But Niability was exactly the inspiration I needed to dig deeper into the practice and deliver to my students new, safer, more pleasurable awareness of sensation and movement.”
Gayle H., Nia Blue Belt teacher
  •   “Before I went through the Niability experience, I had been going to Nia classes 7 days a week for 3 years. Immediately afterwards, my Nia ability started shooting off the charts…and it’s never stopped, even after 2 years.”
    Kathryn G., Nia Student
  •  “My teaching experience has been totally transformed because of this workshop.”
Dina I., Nia Brown Belt teacher
