Niability Dojo – 2011
Through Form Comes Freedom
After the huge success of Niability: The Nine Movement Forms at Nia International Headquarters — here’s another unique opportunity to deepen your Nia ability!
Experience the excitement of “getting” Nia on a level you never have before.
“Kat Gillett is one of those people who sees a need and takes it upon themselves
to create a Nia experience that educates, motivates, and inspires.”
– Debbie Rosas, Nia co-creator and founder.
Whether you’re new to Nia or an accomplished teacher, Niability Dojo is a unique opportunity to deepen your ability to do Nia — your Niability. In a 90-minute class format, on an on-going basis, you’ll explore the form that is behind the freedom of the Nia Technique. In doing so, you will increase your flexibility, agility, mobility, stability, and strength. PLUS, “The more you master Nia, the more you experience the Joy of Movement!” says Kat Gillett, creator of Niability workhsops and classes. You are sure to have many “Aha!” experiences in every class.

What to expect: Niability Dojo is a 90-minute class. Each class will begin with Kat Gillett, “The Queen of Form,” guiding you through fundamental, yet little-known, techniques she has found liberating in her journey of mastering the Nia technique. Next, Gayle Holeton (who has 25 years’ experience discovering new and fun ways to teach) will take you through a routine of her own creation. You’ll have a blast playing with the form you’ve just learned. Just like in a martial arts class, you will learn the details of techniques, and then practice them in movement. Your results? You will increase your fitness level, expand your freedom of movement, and experience deeper joy by more fully expressing your Niability!
“The more you master Nia,
the more you experience the Joy of Movement.”
– Kat Gillett
What’s a Dojo? A dojo is a semi-sacred place where martial artists at all levels of experience attend classes that are designed to continually improve their technique and more fully express their art form. With deep respect for the martial arts that we explore in Nia, Niability Dojo follows this example to help you deepen your Niability (across ALL the movement forms, not just the martial arts.)
Don’t miss one class! Different material is covered every time, and freshly-created routines will be presented in each class— so you want to be at every one!
